Is it no sweets as in sweet means dessert or the English word pudding? Or is it sweets as in England sweets are the American 'candy'. Or is it foods that taste predominantly sweet in taste? Confused.

All of the above. Candy, dessert, predominately sweet things (exception: fruit).
It's everything that isn't part of a main course, really. It's not No sugar. So a spoonful of sugar in your coffee or porridge is fine. A dessert-like porridge isn't. Get the difference?
You'll know what a sweet is, really.
Thanks Eschano

Thank you MustLoseWeight, you are very kind!
I had only about 20 pounds to lose to hit my normal BMI but of all things I'm most thankful about the freedom I found with food, imperfection, and even relationships.
I know you'll love this
