Road Back

Started the No S on Monday, July 18th. Background I'm a recently retired engineer(April) and will turn 66 on Thanksgiving Day.
In the past I've had good success with a modified Atkins and went from 260# down to 205-210. I'm fairly tall 6-3(was 6-4 as recently as five years back) and weighed 226# on Monday. Some may say, that's not bad for my height. But I didn't like all the snacks, cookies and sweets I was eating. I also didn't like the flabby look I've developed even though I walk 2-3 plus miles every morning and work out with kettlebells and dumbbells 4 times a week.
The flabby look started in 2014 after a complicated lung surgery(not cancer). Now recovered and want to use a diet approach during the next phase of life that doesn't involve food selection, calorie counting, yada yada yada.
My goal weight is 210# again, and lose the flabby look around my middle. Another vain goal is to being able to wear all my 36" waist-size jeans and trousers again.
