I am having a good week and am determined to have a good year.
Starting the year weighing 138# and my BMI is currently 26.1

Tomorrow morning I start my new year, a new adventure in an orderly and more classic way of eating. I'll devote a year to the No S way and by the end of 2017 I expect to be somewhat slimmer hopefully, but more importantly I will be eating in sanity. And on and on after that! Go me, ha!!

Well actually it was due to health concerns of a family member. Doing better now but disordered stress eating is my default during such times as those.

I buy a bag of flax seeds already ground at Costco and I keep it in the freezer. I sprinkle two tablespoons on top of the bowl after I stir in the other fixin's. I don't like the texture if I mix in the flax so that's why I sprinkle on top.

Yes, oohlala, the MIND diet is very interesting to me. I mostly avoid sweets, and have done for almost 25 years. At times I ban them entirely, and then there are the times when I start to feel deprived and overindulge. I like to use some stevia in baking, although DH says that it leaves a bitter aft...

Yeah, Costco pizza is the only pizza
I eat these days. One slice--portion control.

samples throughout the store.

That's interesting. I've been a walker for years, especially in the past 15+ years. I've read that depression can also contribute to low bone density and I've also had that for year and years--only took antidepressant for less than a year as I dislike side effects of meds. Actually I do feel some 'bloated' after my big Easter weekend, oohlala.

Tuesday going well. Going to take a long walk this afternoon--the weather is beautiful. Didn't have milk at bedtime last night. Nothing at all after dinner. Cooking at home again tonight and will use some leftovers from last night as part of the meal.
