I agree, it is better to start where you are than where you would like to be.

No wonder you are confused. Most ways of eating do limit processed food. Apart from that, and medical issues, IMHO food choices should mainly be governed by taste and digestion. Personally I eat a wide variety of plant foods, meat and any other unprocessed/traditional food that takes my fancy. Most ...

Welcome back babybird and good luck with the BED. I found not eating between meals, and dishing out all the meal at the start (no seconds) the key to stopping binges before they started. At the start I did have to do a lot of clock watching while I waited out the urges and cravings, but it was worth...

Hi automated - one of the pleasures of spread sheets are those nifty little graphs.

Weekly check in Mon, Tues - success Wed - fail. Technical success, but an immoderate amount of one particular food at a meal wasn't consistent with my goal of being a truly moderate eater. Don't stop posting Worth it - we are all practising ordered eating here instead of disordered in our various ways. As far as triggering goes, personally I would rather learn how to deal with my thoughts than try and live my life without ever exposing myself to a different way of thinking.
