Just wanted to point out that Reinhard does advocate "keeping track" of success or failure, which is a tenet of habit change, but to do it as undramatically, un-guilt-provokingly as possible. Thus the green/yellow/red system. Brain researcher Stephen Gueyenet, who has studied hunter gatherers quite ...

I think even people who DO have a problem with eating have a hard time understanding the value of No S. It's all just cultural pressures influenced by so many other interests!

It seems what we are "sustaining" with snackification is not vitality or joy, yet people cling to this freedom! I say the emphasis on looking at the severe minority who can be impulse-driven without paying a high price is also part of the problem, though they don't go into that. Fair enough. I am fo...

While on WW, I saw what kind of meals seemed to be the most satisfying and pleasurable. They actually tended to be what others might call diet meals, certainly of less than 500 calories and even lower. They became the basis of my N days (and often S meals) and took me all the way down However, if I ...

Sometimes it was a reasonable portion of a processed food as part of my meal which kept me from snacking until that meal. Usually had less than two hours to wait from urge to meal.

I could have sworn I started a thread on this last year but couldn't find it. Maybe it was in 2017? Well, onwards.
