Welcome back! I rely heavily on the board in times where I find it a little harder to stick to the habits and it is the kindest, most supportive community I have ever come accross.

I'd recommend reading everything oolala has posted -- she is so inspirational. Our culture loves for us to be scared so we'll buy into all the crap. Let's fan the flames of peace and moderation.

Welcome back!! This board is very forgiving, and it takes as many times as it takes before we "get it". But it sure sounds like you are done being scared and trying so hard.

Welcome back. You can do this, one meal at a time. And if you fall off the wagon, you're only ever one meal away from being a sucess!

And hey, if you decide after a few months that you want to eat fewer carbs or whatever, the contents of your plate is up to you - No-S is compatible with all sorts of eating plans.

Joining a gym is a great step!

I noticed my blood sugar stabilising after a few months of NoS so I hope it's the same for you!

thanx iron chef good advice about the carbs. and eschano, makes me feel good to hear about the blood sugars and congrats to you. had kind of a false start, i work at a deli and my habit of picking on food through out the day is going to be my biggest challenge. so today is a new day and a fresh start, well it is an s day but still trying. oh and i hit 210 lbs today, this has to stop!

well going to check in with my habitcal. thanks so much for the support. i also will be checking in everyday i think that will also help. everyone else's posts are very helpful.

Hi there--
I noticed your goal weight is really low! Especially considering you are 48. OK, I'll assume you are 5'00''. I am 5'2'' and the top of my BMI is 135. Are you 5'00''? Otherwise I think you are really aiming pretty low on the weight thing! :)

Was just browsing around. Does your not posting mean things fell into place?
