Take a sledgehammer and wrap an old sweater around it. This is your "shovelglove." Every week day morning, set a timer for 14 minutes. Use the shovelglove to perform shoveling, butter churning, and wood chopping motions until the timer goes off. Stop. Rest on weekends and holidays. Baffled? Intrigued? Charmed? Discuss here.

I don't know if anyone here has read the book "Joe X" or heard of it, but the philosophy in it is pretty much in line with the Everyday Systems philosophy. It's main point being that sticking with consistent exercise is more of a mental challenge than a physical one.

I think people here would find a alot of similarities and maybe, like me, recognize their own struggle to stay consistent with exercise.
