The ultimate shovelglove...?

Take a sledgehammer and wrap an old sweater around it. This is your "shovelglove." Every week day morning, set a timer for 14 minutes. Use the shovelglove to perform shoveling, butter churning, and wood chopping motions until the timer goes off. Stop. Rest on weekends and holidays. Baffled? Intrigued? Charmed? Discuss here.

So here is the proverbial thousand dollar hammer that the Military has been wasting our money on... now you can waste you money *without* giving it up in taxes!

Wow.

Is the hammer head gold? (it actually looks kind of goldish). How on earth could a sledgehammer cost that much? You'd think they'd give a little more text to justify a price like that, but maybe they figured they could just rely on those two rave reviews. :-)

Reinhard, sell any yet? Maybe you could co-brand with Christie Brinkley and Chuck Norris?

I guess their tools (they make a lot of stuff besides hammers) are so pricey because they are made of copper alloys and other non-ferrous metals, intended for use in highly explosive, corrosive, or other specialty environments -- including certain food service businesses.
