I agree with you wholeheartedly. I believe that you can abuse your body with food just like any other substance or behavior. Stopping that abuse and revering yourself enough to make healthier choices is healing.

totally agree. have felt so great not calorie counting or obsessing about foods this past few weeks. i am loving this!
Current BMI: 22.9. Height: 5'4.5"
Highest BMI: 25.5 in August 2011.
Lowest adult BMI: 20.8 in February 2012.

I definitely think it heals on many levels.
