Here goes nothing, tomorrow I start the last diet of my life

Post by klummzy » Tue Nov 13, 2012 6:21 am

Oy vey, am I sick of dieting! I recently (again) started a new diet (low carb, low fat, high calcium, blah blah blah) but I keep running into the same problem- I'm still hungry! I don't actually eat large amounts of food on a regular basis but when I "diet" I crave every bad food imaginable and obsess over when I can eat the banned foods. This is so simple I have to believe it works.

Here's to a diet I can actually live with...cheers

Welcome!

It works for me--I'm at 4+ years and counting. Read through the testimonial board for some inspiration and examples of NoS successes through all the stresses and joys of everyday living.

Best wishes for your NoS journey,

This one really is NOT a diet, but a true lifestyle, as so many others claim dishonestly. Weight loss is just a side effect.

I'm right with you on the lingo, Klummzy, having started the same time as you! Reading the boards has been really interesting so far, and reading the main page on No S is helping me quite a bit.

Very good quote to remember........"weight loss is just a side effect". Less focus on losing weight and more focus on the fact that we are just attempting to change our habits takes the knee-jerk panic sensation one can get when starting a diet.

Thanks!
