Trying this again

Post by Captnswife » Mon Jun 27, 2011 12:09 am

Well im trying to do the No S Diet again. I've been dianognised with sleep apnea, my depression and anxiety is getting worse and I have back problems, which would go away or lessen if I would lose the weight.
I've been on many different diets since. I even got the Medifast diet,(very expensive 300.00 at least each month just for there food but does work) I did lose alot of weight (55.5 lbs in 3 months) but went off of it and man did the weight come back on FAST!!! I then went to Weight Watchers but I couldnt stand to count pts. I wont even try to do count calories. So I thought I would try this one again. Alot of my problem is in my head, Im thinking of food all the time.
My 2 yr old is very active (like most toddlers) can hardly keep up with him anymore and I dont want him to have a weight problem like I do.

Welcome back, Captnswife. I'm sorry that you've been having such a hard time, and hope that No S helps.
Be kind, for everybody you meet is fighting a hard battle.

Please give it the best effort you can (it's got to be easier than the others!) and consider committing to two years. From my looking at others' explanations of how they healed compulsive eating and from lack of recidivism on the National Weight Control Registry, two years seems to be a minimum for a real turnaround. It won't be terribly hard the whole time and you will likely loose weight in fits and starts, not linearly. But things will have to be better!
Count plates, not calories. 11 years "during"
Age 69
BMI Jan/10-30.8
1/12-26.8 3/13-24.9 +/- 8-lb. 3 yrs
9/17 22.8 (flux) 3/18 22.2
2 yrs flux 6/20 22
1/21-23

There is no S better than Vanilla No S (mods now as a senior citizen)
