First day on no s

Post by Royce » Mon Apr 26, 2010 8:23 pm

Uhm obviously no success to report. Just an observation. I snack almost constantly through the day. Not allowing myself to do it even for one day is eye opening to say the least. It's almost like trying to not stick your tounge in the space left after missing a tooth. I really had no idea I was that obsessed with food. Oh and I'm 282 lbs today. Personal olympics test day is 1-1-2011. 240 lbs bronze 230 silver 220 gold.

Welcome, Royce!

It sounds like things are going well your first day; it's pretty incredible that you've already learned things about your eating habits. There's a lot of good information here and plenty of people to help when you have questions.

Welcome, Royce!

I like to think that No-s is "eye opening" on many levels -- and especially on the literal level of making your eyes useful tools in guarding against excess again. When you limit yourself to three single plate meals a day, a lot will look like a lot. By forcing yourself to confront the spectacle of excess, you shock yourself into eating less -- and into enjoying food more; the law enforcement "search light" of each plate is also a theatrical "spotlight."
