one/two more sticky [ies]??
I know we have a lot of stickies, but does anyone else think it might be good to have in one place
1) links to support for not snacking or other S issues, and/or
2) an "I'm back" or "I wish I never left" thread, a place for people who say they are returning after leaving to try something faster and wishing they never left? I've seen so many over the years; maybe it would help those who get discouraged.

I like both of those too.
I fall into the #2 category, have been here, gone away and come back again so often that I've lost count!
Also for #1, I'm reading more and more that supports no snacking and leaving longer gaps between eating episodes.
I've just written a post about disordered eating and No S, and mentioned that I need all the reasons I can find to not let irrational diet thoughts lead me away from No S yet again. More evidence against snacking would be a helpful motivational sticky.

Great suggestions... my only reservation is the screen real estate the existing stickies already take up. But maybe I can come up with a creative solution for that... For example, maybe a "sticky of stickies?" for help with the different specific esses? (a sticky note linking to non-stick treads for each S which then become "2nd degree" sticky?
The "real estate" issue is a concern. A sticky of links sounds good.
I'm partial to a "returners" thread, though.

I like this suggestion. I'm not a great fan of having loads of 'stickies' as if I can't be bothered to scroll down beyond them, then it's likely that other people won't either. In which case, people who post new topics are likely not to get much response. When I log in I always check out all the 'new posts' to try to keep up with things.reinhard wrote:Great suggestions... my only reservation is the screen real estate the existing stickies already take up. We can keep SpiritSong's thread "Why did you leave? Why are you back?relatively high up with bumps. De facto sticky. The advice for specific S problems is another issue. Bstated minds than mine can deal with that.

I've finally gone ahead and created a "sticky of stickies" and added the "why did you leave? why are you back?" thread to it. I moved most of the existing stickies there as well.
Hopefully an improvement? Let me know!
