* * * * Week of 8/21 challenge * * * *

Post by ~reneew » Sun Aug 21, 2011 12:09 am

I need to get back on track (I have not done a challenge since May!) and I think I'll try one week at a time, so ...
I challenge you to have an absolutely perfect week. No cheating, slips or close-enoughs.

This is for anybody who needs encouragement and daily accountability. Think of this as your own little cheering section.

- Write down what your "perfect" is at the top of your post and then update us as to how you're doing. Accountability helps!
- *Remember* to only post once at the top and edit that first post all week with an update of how you are doing. It's easier to find each other.
- Please re-read that last one, some people don't get it.
- after Monday we will continue posting at the bottom for encouragement and fun.
- This challenge is meant for all of us to give support, so let's try hard to do that.
- anyone can start whenever through out the week. The more ~ the merrier!
- Be sure to tell us all at the end of the week if you did have a perfectly successful week!!!

I guess this doesn't work unless you actually do it.
Please pray for me

My goal is to give myself enough time for a proper breakfast. If I don't do that, I get off track for the rest of the day.

August 20: A nice Saturday, regular meals, and three cranberry oatmeal cookies. Okay, it was six by the time I went to bed. So what? I ate heathy home-cooked meals otherwise.

August 21: even thought it was a Sunday, I just ate normally. No snacks, no sweets, no seconds. I just didn't want any of that stuff.

My goal is to have a perfect VANILLA week. No RED's allowed only GREEN . I definitely need to work at perhaps starting to cut back on portion control, even though I use a 9 in plate, maybe I should let myself see the rim a bit :P.

M-8/22 RED
T-8/23 GREEN
W-8/24
Th-8/25
F-8/26
S-8/27
S-8/28

p.s. does this include the weekend 8/27 & 8/29? are we starting today? seems like it started saturday?

I'm up for this challenge! I haven't given up on NoS, but I kind of feel like I've given up trying to succeed lately... just tracking and noting failures isn't helping, I need to really try and properly stick to it!

Roll on green week!

Monday 22nd: success
Tuesday 23rd: success
Wednesday 24th: success
Thursday 25th: success
Friday 26th: failure

Oh well 4 days out of 5 ain't bad :) Roll on next week....

Yea, go us! I think that the short-term goal of one week might be easier to achieve. I have high hopes!

The "week" will be the calendar week Sunday through Saturday. 21-27
I'll probably start another week challenge next week.

I eat off an 8 1/2" plate and I don't eat breakfast, so I don't beat myself up when I can't see the rim. I do occasionally eat off a regular size corelle plate if I have something bulky like corn on the cob or I'm having some food that I have no hope of eating the smaller amount like pizza.
I guess this doesn't work unless you actually do it.
Please pray for me

Mmm today is going to be a struggle for me too - partially because Friday's are always a struggle, but also because I'm off work today and I'm semi-celebrating the end of a long slog to submit a bunch of work for my professional qualifications.... do I need to celebrate with food? Nope. Do I WANT to? Yes! I think today is going to be full of me mentally arguing with myself about whether I take an S event/day, fail, or attempt to stick to a green day!
