Yesterday was a good day, sometimes I feel like why can't I just eat a snack, then I have to remind myself that I can just not today. Sanity seems to help me realize I do feel so much better not. Binging does not make one feel good after it is over...it adds no value to one's life. Here's to sanity.

30 Days - No Scale - Want to join us?

Just wondering if anyone wanted to join me for 30 days by not getting on the scale..starting on August 1. I have been using the habitcal and giving myself a greenie if I don't weigh myself. It truly puts me in a bad mood or good mood and I shouldn't let it have so much power over my emotions. As for...

You might want to say one afternoon snack each day and seconds only with supper and only one sweet each day. That makes your weekends looser and more indulgent, without giving yourself too much room to blow out. And even if you do blow out, it's still not a failure day, because it's yellow anyways....

A good old fashioned peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a glass of milk works. I also buy oatmeal that I just add water to from the hot water cooler and add some walnuts and milk.

Or when I have rice for dinner, I can add milk and some splenda, heated in the microwave or eat cold.

wonderful

I'm so grateful for all the support and great wisdom here. If I'm eating 3 squares that are healthy because of how I learned to eat are we saying that might be a downfall? Would this be considered dieting? I really do enjoy healthy eating. I do have high cholesterol that I need to manage with food a...

Re: HELP, need encouragement

I love tuna noodle casserole and never make it because I always binge on it, but I thought okay, I'll make it and allow for seconds, well the rest of the night was history. Oh ya and I allowed for a special dessert...which turned into 3...I won't mention other things. I love tuna noodle casserole, ...

Thankss

K, I'll give slowing down a try, I thought I was eating slower, but perhaps not. I had to eat tums this morning...didn't even eat yet.

Perhaps until my body adjusts I can try an over the counter prilosec or something.

Sunday was what I consider a perfect S day and yesterday was great too...Funny thing I have been dieing for snowball cupcakes and for years I wouldn't buy them as I'm always dieting and watching what I eat. So when I went grocery shopping I bought a package and put them up on the cupboard until my S...

Heartburn?

Okay, I noticed the last few days after eating my 3 squares on 9 inch plates, not very vertical :D and the foods I normally eat. What I'm finding is heartburn right after I eat. Not sure if this is due to eating larger meals and then no snacking. It lasts for a little a while, I have to eat Tums. An...

weekend

So my saturday was an s day gone wild, but after posting and getting great feedback from people about expectations and how things work, my sunday was fantastic.

Today I start the week of N days.

Keeping my diet mentality at bay as much as possible..dieting for 30 years will take a long time to fix.

Thank you so much everyone...today I'm getting past the beating myself and still having an S day. It is freeing to know that I can forgive myself and look to make better choices. Knowledge

I am 1/2 way thru reading the No S Diet book again, as I really love it and it's no pressure approach. I read a lot too and I think it is great to read as one can take bits and pieces and apply what works for them. I think so far of all the books I've read the no s diet is the best...for me to read ...

Another great day

Definitely is getting a tad easier. I'm finding that I'm actually truly hungry when I eat and the food tastes great. I'm also finding that when I eat something that is not great I stop eating it and put it away. Yesterday ate dinner before bingo and had a vita coca juice while everyone was eating. ....

NoSnacker Check-in

I decided to start my daily checks in today. I love the No S Diet (hate to call it a diet), but I still find I'm obsessing about it as in the way of starting a new diet, that high you get. I hope this passes as what I found is that once the urge to keep eating passes after lunch/dinner I'm good..I h...

First time S'r

So I'm a spark person and am to the point where I need to be set free from logging and playing with staying in a range..eating just to eat to meet my quota..I tried this yesterday and today so far and I feel like this makes sense. How long did it take most of you to be comfortable with it. I'm also ...
