I read in a willpower book that they did a study on people having candy at work, those that left the candy out on top of their desk ate more, tempted to eat more..those that put the candy in a drawer, it was out of sight, out of mind... I can attest that out of sight does work quite well most of the...

Motorin says: "On second thought, I do think that I will tweak No S very slightly. Since I have a strong history of binge eating and binge eating is a very private activity done in total isolation, I fear succumbing to this on S days. I actually not only fear this, but based on my history know that...

For me yesterday it started to creep in while I was eating dinner...trying to count calories in my head...had to stop myself and say it doesn't matter..I don't do that anymore.....

Hi, the call of the chips last night never showed up :). I thought you know I can have them whenever I want..just not as a binge food at night. You are right to stick No S out..I left last year at 168, came back a lot heavier a few months later..so maintaining is great... I need to visit my S days a...

I just read the book on willpower, we all start off with good intent, but as the course of the day wears on, all the decisions/willpower we used during the day depletes our ego's and we cave into the food by the end of the day... So it really isn't we don't have willpower, we just deplete it with al...

Before I started No S, I started to use 8 1/2 inch corolle plate (bought once just for me). I always have some sort of fruit with my meals, helps with any cravings..like an end to my meal in my mind. Day 2 of 21 (success)
5/22 - Success (Day 2 of 21) It sure makes a difference when I eat enough food at my meals. It still seems to be a bit of a struggle when I first get home from work, as in the past I would grab some sort of crunchy stuff like chips..and crunch away, then eat dinner...then eat another 2 hours of stuf...
