Hey, did you read Christa's blog (on Spark) on the book Brain Over Binge? Ya, I did not that long ago....sounds interesting Brain Over Binge...might see if available as kin...

Forgiveness is key. It takes several months to get comfortable with the idea that life isn't all about food. My s days were pretty wild my first few months but it has gotten a lot better. Don't shame yourself for messing up, especially on an Sday. Just know that it will even out if you stick with i...

Hi there, I just bought a Mr. Coffee Latte machine with Christmas money from my dad..truly amazing...was like $50 on Amazon. I have lowfat milk and bought some sugar free sweeteners...and Starbucks espresso coffee...yummy!! Definitely a weekend treat. My first one so far was MUCH better than any of ...

UGH!!! Big fat fail today!! I don't know if the stress of the upcoming holidays just took over but I completely broke down and started snacking mindlessly at 4pm. A few bites of bread led to some chocolate and now I'm so annoyed with myself. It starts this terrible pattern with me that I feel incre...

Food Day Gone Wild - Sister's day indulgence
12/21 S Day - Binged Reinhard - Podcast You could even extend it to help with "S-days gone wild," a perennial concern. S days are always yellow. But if you aren't happy with them, qualify. You still can't fail on S-days, but you can still complain about them, systematically, and collect data on the...

Fresh starts are always a good place to begin. This is my third attempt..I was here in 2011 and 2012 for about 5 months then gave up....why because I started to focus on my failures too much and was upset with my S days being my new comment "Food Days Gone Wild"...I guess each trip around we learn s...

Hi, organic coconut palm sugar is another alternative, it is low on the GI index. I just receive my Latte machine yesterday...so excited..So I can control what I'm putting in it..I'll focus on using on the weekends only as to not become dependent on them. Parties are always a downfall for me..always...

Hi, when I was looking at your reds regarding pretzels/biscuits, what I found eating low GI foods is pretzels and biscuits turn right to glucose which turns to fat quick. I found other alternatives for my S days, but believe it or not pretzels are the highest GI food. Oh ya, and reminder how they pu...

Re: Friday, week 17
Small piece chocolate cream pie...... Didn't really enjoy it, kind of regret it, but oh well, it's a good learning experience that just because it's an S day doesn't mean I truly want to have a dessert. This is so true, I have trouble not eating something even if not tasting all that great....I'm f...

This is my 3rd attempt, once in 2011 and once in 2012 with 5-6 months in each time...and yup my weekends did me in. I forgot to read "moderation" :) Anyhow, I have incorporated the 3 squares on the weekends with moderation on my S foods and foods that I want to have. Not that I don't have what I wan...
