Does anyone know how to get rid of that very strong and offensive, "new rubber smell" from a yoga mat?? I purchased my first one yesterday, all psyched about starting to attend exercise classes, and the smell was NOT very pleasant. I've washed it with soap and water - no difference. It's now hanging...

Wow.....last night was the first time in a while that I got only about 5-6 hours of sleep. All day long I've been dragging, snacking and not productive at all. Thanks. I've decided to pass on all their products. I figure if I can't stick to a simple No S Diet, I sure as heck won't be able to stick to their products. And if I CAN stick to a simple No S Diet, eating healthily in moderate portions should give me the nutrients and energy that their packets off...
