I DID IT! This is the wildest thing! Between lunch and dinner I wasn't even particularly hungry. Ate dinner on my little plate, and couldn't even finish all the potatoes I took. I am absolutely amazed in the change that's occured since I began the No-S Diet. Apologies for my panic-driven whining!

Commercials never portray real people. Take for instance the skin rejuvenating stuff from Olay or whoever. The women they show are too young to have wrinkles anyway. No wonder they look so good after using the product. Everyone looks good at 23, especially with stage make-up! It's the same with fash...

Sibyl, You are right about starving people in the world. I have it so easy! I had a decent enough lunch, and dinner will be wonderful. If I am extra hungry, then dinner will just taste extra good. I will offer up any discomfort as a prayer for those who are really hungry. Thanks for reminding me. Jan

I agree entirely with what you have posted here. I have lots of little containers in the freezer, with one-serving portions of leftover dinners. I never lack for something good to have for lunch. Don't know if you are "into" making things from scratch, but if you wanted syrup for your pancakes and wanted to avoid the sugar on N-days, you can thicken fruit juice with cornstarch. Berry juice would be especially nice. If you want a recipe for this, just holler...

Samurai, I agree with Deb. You are doing well and should be proud of it. Don't weigh yourself too often, and, even then, just use the numbers as a general idea of what you might actually weigh at that particular moment in time. Scales aren't good for much more than that.

"No Name" is really just a bicep curl. Forget that your shovelglove has a handle on it...just hold onto the weight end. Don't swing; raise and lower. Feel your bicep kick in. You can do this with the handle pointing out, away from you, or with it lining up, along your arm. Don't fret over this move....
