Welcome back!
It's certainly possible, but I wouldn't focus on that.
Focus on the habit.
"Eat and move moderately, see what happens."
That's the No-s way to best calibrate your expectations.
Best of luck and keep us posted,

I don't this there's a direct way to do it at the moment (the "img" button wants a url to an image, it doens't prompt for upload). It's possible that if I upgrade the bulletin board system to phpbb3 uploads will be supported, but last time I tried that it broke habitcal so I'm not sure how immanent ...

Thanks for the thoughtful responses, Noel, Rawcookie! I enjoyed reading your comparison of flylady vs. Kondo, Noel. From: http://noelfigart.com/blog/2015/06/15/konmari-v-flylady/ Understand clearly why you are decluttering I love this. It’s something that really gets missed. The assumption is that e...

Great name, too.
It's a little like a special case of what I talked about in the "compound and atomic tasking" podcast episode way back.

Sorry, not that I'm aware of -- and though I'm normally a very talented sleeper, I've been through extended periods when I really could have used one. I'm a big fan of audiobook to sleep as well (sleep timer is brilliant), and it works great under "everyday" circumstances, but if I'm sufficiently st...

Podcast 47: The Heroics of Tidiness
I managed to squeeze out one more episode in 2015 -- not bad by my recent (very low) standard.
It's part review of Marie Kondo's Tidiness book, part re-consideration of the role of discrete, decisive actions in the realm of self-improvement.

Hey, thanks for the update and congratulations on your successful perseverance in working your way back up! I'm struggling with something much less severe at the moment, but probably the first injury I've had since I started shugging that has actually significantly affected my routine. I've self-dia...

Blithe -- thanks for articulating this so well! I too run a bit, primarily because I enjoy it (and despite the fact that I can't seem to to it consistently without injuring myself), rather than for fitness, which I've found is addressed quite adequately by shovelglove and urban ranger. The only exce...

I think the hardest thing about No-S probably isn't the idea of three meals a day and no snacks. It's that pleasure has a real and legitimate place. So true! (and beautifully put). This too: I being to suspect that most people who struggle with excessive S-days still feel in the backs of their mind...

Podcast #46: N-Days vs. Cheat Days
Hi all,
Just pushed out a second episode after my last long hiatus:
https://everydaysystems.com/podcast/episode.php?id=46
Please let me know what resonated/what didn't/what else you'd like me to do future episodes about. Think the next one will be on the "kondo" method.

Nice "testimonial" posted to the facebook group that I thought I'd share with you old school bulletin boarders: From: https://www.facebook.com/groups/nosdiet?_rdr=p I started No S 2 years and 4 months ago. Today, I hit the 10-pound weight loss mark. VERY slow, but sure! I was 50 years old when I sta...
