Hi Sinnie - thanks for stopping by my thread... It seems like we have a lot in common. The reason I started No S was to stop all the grazing and maintain my weight. I needed a behavior change - especially after dinner. I had gotten into the worse habit of eating late into the night watching TV - it ...

So another name for you could be 3.6.12. :) Keep doing what you're doing since it's working - that's what it's all about right? Gotta live the lifestyle as you're building the habit (maker). :) Yes, by starting on the 1st of the month, it makes it easier to keep track of days - don't have to do a wh...

NoSnacker - Yes, still having sweets on S days (usually at lunch and dinner) and my meals tend to be larger - but the snacking is the killer for me - so for now I don't snack on S days. Now that I'm used to being hungry for meals - I crave/want it all the time. If I snack, then my meal doesn't tast...

Peace of mind is what it's all about isn't it? The peace that gets cultivated during N days and ideally transfers to S days. The ultimate goal, I believe. I had disordered eating (not today though!) and all I wanted was the freight train to stop. I just wanted to rest my weary head. You can do this....

Yes, S days are exempt - days to maybe reflect - and days to appreciate N days. Before I began No S - I had totally overdone it for 2 days straight. I had a lot of family stuff going on and I went right to the food. The 3rd day came and I promised myself that I would just have a normal day - ha! Con...

Thanks lbb... This method is so SANE - it covers all the aspects. I'm feeling totally blessed. Not too long ago, I couldn't make it longer than a week without turning to the food to self-soothe. Sometimes it would be a lot - sometimes not so much. But the out-of-control feeling would drive me batty....

Hi gk - wanted to say "hi" and to add on to your cheering section. :) I just reread Chapter 6 - Building the No S Habit - maybe that may help you feel a little more grounded. Remember the state of mind you were in just a few days ago? How great you felt in the grocery store? Remember how you didn't ...
