I keep my lettuce in a tiptop bag with a clean paper towel to absorb any water and suck out the air. It stays well that way too....I will also reuse the bags.

Sweetness, I agree. I rarely do a ton of baking during the holidays and some years we just do crafts. I actually don't enjoy baking that much. I usually make a desert to enjoy on the weekends though.

I think it's key not to beat ourselves up when we make those silly mistakes like the chocolate waffles, when I do that I sometimes say oh well and keep on eating bad things. I envy your garden!!!! I just haven't had time to devote to my sad veggie garden. Something has eaten my zucchini plants two years in a row.
I think next summer will be my year though as my kids get older it gets a little easier.
