I'm up three or four times a night with a young baby, so I definitely sympathize! It can be really difficult. In the first few weeks of No-S, I went with a small glass of full cream milk if I felt hungry at a night wake up. I also drink at least one large glass of water at every wake up. I have bee...

Not sure how useful this is going to be but have you tried to have a hot milk with a tablespoon of honey instead? It will help you sleep and is easier on the stomach (unless you're lactose intolerant that is). Thanks for your suggestion :) I have tried hot milk actually but not with honey. Wouldn't...

HarmonicaLady's daily check in

This was a strange day for me . After hardly any sleep last night I knew it would be difficult but I succeeded. Breakfast was wholewheat bread with peanut butter and a little bit of applesauce and plain Greek yogurt mixed together. Lunch - I was out with friends which actually helped. Finished my p...

Hi. I'm a newbie, too - just started yesterday. You can *totes* do this, as my 10-year-old niece would say. It's so simple, and I'm hoping it's easy as well. Soooo tired of complicating things for myself!! I started a Daily Check-In Thread which I invite you to check out. I don't think there's a ba...

Thanks for your support. I'm actually looking forward to surprising everyone when I lose weight. Maybe then I'll tell them about No S. (Maybe...if they're nice!) HL You'll love the sanity of NoS habits. (I do--I am about to write my 4th year testimonial!!). But just so you know, I lost 30 pounds th...

Day One

Hi Everyone! It's my first day - wasn't I smart to start on a Thursday? Not really, it wasn't planned like that. Anyway, I had one of those nights where I didn't sleep a wink! Consequently i know I'm going to be craving carbs all day, but I'm starting No S any way today because that's just life isn'...

Secret Weapon!

Hi Everyone! I have been on every diet under the sun and have no credibility whatsoever left. This time my secret weapon is going to be that I'm not telling anyone that I am trying something new. Not even my spouse. With this plan I think I can get away with not telling anyone except you guys! I hav...
