Back again

It is almost embarrassing to keep coming back over and over, but I do remember hearing that it usually takes several times to be successful at this plan, I have lost track on how many times I have tried it, maybe 8?? Anyway, Went to a counselor today, I have a lot of stuff going on in my life and I ...

Wow, haven't gotten on here in a couple of days, and I have all kinds of answers!! I did finally tell him about the "No S Diet" and he said he would try to be supportive. I did say he is "naturally thin", but he really does not eat like I do, he is not a snacker and only eats desserts occasionally, ...

Thanks for all of the great answers!! Actually I did not really tell him about the "No S" diet, I just said I was watching what I ate, then when he saw cinnamon rolls on Saturday morning, he said "I thought you were on a diet"- and I did tell him how I felt about him saying that, and I did not expla...

Unsupportive spouse

My husband is one of those naturally thin people who think that they are supposed to be your "diet police". When I get on the weekend "S" days anytime I eat a cookie or something he says "I thought you were supposed to be on a diet". I guess there is really nothing to say, I just have to show him it...

1 day success [/colo I almost talked myself out starting this right before the holidays, but I really want to look at this as a way of life not as a "diet". Back again!

Probably about my fifth time to be on the No S plan, I have lost count and it has been awhile since I have been here on the boards, but here I go again. I did actually manage to lose about 20 pounds on this a few years ago. I have gained a lot of weight this year, been major stress eating due to pro...

How do you handle spouses who have no weight problem at all and do not understand what you are doing? For instance, I was really proud of myself since I have been doing really good for 2 weeks, lost about 3 or 4 pounds, sat down on Saturday to eat my dessert, and my husband says "That is why you can...

My sister bought me chocolate croissants from Williams and Sonoma for Christmas! They are in my freezer, that will be my treat this weekend, they are delicious. Getting back on track

Hi, I have been on and off this board for the last couple of years. Last year I was doing perfect on the No S diet, I lost 25 pounds, started exercising, and I was feeling a lot better. Then two things happened, I hurt my back, and had some family problems, mainly with a rebellious 20-year-old daugh...

Weighing

Carol,

That is a good idea. I think I will start only weighing once a month. I am way too obsessed with the scales, to the point of weighing myself 2-3 times a week sometimes, it can really get you down when you see a weight gain.
