A good (?) insight to include

Here's something I've been thinking about in terms of No S, and I think it would make a good addition to the book. Foregive me if it's been covered elsewhere and I missed it. Some time ago someone on this board asked whether they could "shift" S days for N days. That is, get to eat snacks and sweets...

I would be nervous about doing a single move to exhaustion just because of the risk of injury. Even if it doesn't actually hurt you but only feels like torture, I don't know, there's something that turns me off about it. But you sound like you know what you're doing, and if you get a kick out of th...

Essentially, although mine is a couple inches shorter but about 1/3 heavier. One other thing I do is hold it at one end, hands shoulder-width apart, squat down w...

Steve,
What I meant was that, for a period of 14 minutes, I just go from exercise to exercise, not counting reps or going in any particular order. And, I'll get a photo up soon.

I have never had any upper body strength, but SG has already gotten my from 5 pushups to 10. Nice. So, I was in the hardware sto...

True, but in all fairness the center takes on greater significance than its literal translation in spiritual contexts. Hara is also the location of the sacral chakra, the center of gravity (which is important for martial arts and motion meditations), and is a major focus point in many seated medita...

Hello :) It was probably something I wrote in past posts... I'm a massage therapist, with extensive training in body mechanics... Any time you are lifting a weight in a twisted postion, you are moving further away from your center of power, which, in Japanese, is referred to as the "Hara".... That'...
