I realized that what might be happening is that I'm not thinking about food constantly. Eating three meals a day takes the emphasis OFF food & puts it in the background, where it belongs. Congrats! Major accomplishment. I think that gaining good habits like this is just as great as any weight loss....

Thanks Who Me and milliem ! :) Day 2 - Tuesday - SUCCESS I did it! This is usually the hardest day for me when first starting again, because I'm not still full from my piggy weekend and I'm not used to refraining from snacking all day. My lunch and supper meals were very FULL plates, but legal. I'm ...

Day 1 - Monday - SUCCESS Ahhh...feels good to type that. :D I had a fairly easy day today. I made sure to keep my meals at least 5 hours apart and my plates full to avoid hunger. Also, whenever I started feeling hungry, I just focused on a new task.....worked like a charm. Feels good to be back. :)

Talk about an eye-opener...... Had to go to a wedding this weekend. Figured I'd just wear the same outfit that I wore to my nephew's graduation in May. Pants TOO tight. While grumbling, I rummaged around in my closet for a pair of pants that would fit.....grabbed one and tried it on....it was slight...

Hello all! I'm back! My new approach didn't work out so well, so I've decided to just jump in with both feet and go vanilla again. Out of all my varied attempts over this past year, vanilla is the only one that I stuck to the longest with the most results. As usual, I will start a new thread come Mo...

Breakfast

Has anyone here skipped breakfast reguarly and had an extra meal later in the day instead? I've read over and over how the experts say it messes with your metabolism to skip that meal, "it's the most important meal of the day", but sometimes I'd rather have an extra meal later in the day instead.......

Question for long-time No S'ers

Have any of you tried starting No S with one S for 21 days, then adding another, and then the last S? Or maybe you added each one after only a week or so? What were your thoughts on that approach? Did you find that it made it easier at all or that you might as well have just started with vanilla No ...
