Went for a nice long walk this morning. It was *wonderful*. The weather is beautiful right now. Went for 60 minutes today. This is the longest walk I have done, so I am pooped. Good start to an S day anyway. Motivates me to get other things done today too. *edited to add* Wow, that walk absolutely m...

Got right back in there and did my urban ranger thing and SG. Good No S day....even though its FRIDAY !! Fridays can sometimes be a bad thing for the waistline, but today was a good one. I didn't beat myself up too much about yesterday. I know I will have times that I just won't adhere to everything...

I don't think it's about being happy about eating bars and drinking shakes. I hated it. It's more about desperation. I agree...real food is wayyyy better!! No S has been an absolute God-send to me after years of struggling.

This is such a great thread. I have tried Atkins, Weight Watchers, counting calories, and just basically starvation. How is No S different for me than other diets I have tried? Well, since I concentrate more on eating three meals rather than calorie counting, point counting, or foods I should or sho...

Thanks everyone for the great suggestions. I actually love Greek yogurt and went out and bought some this evening. Mixed in some bananas and granola....delicious and very filling! So I have been consistently walking at least 30 minutes a day and shovelgloving. I can already see changes happening with my body! I have also been following No S perfectly. So far so good. I am still a little sore from all the walking and SG, but it's a good sore. I've also already dropped a couple...

Healthy Convenience Foods

I know Reinhard suggests a great convenience food of oatmeal. I will get some, but I'm not a huge fan of oatmeal. I may try his idea and put some nuts and dried fruit in it to liven it up a bit though. But what are some other good convenience foods that you reach for when you're in a hurry and simpl...

Thank you, Reinhard. I have not listened to that podcast, but I will now. I think I will take your advice and do the N days for a while and make sure I have that down. Thank you so much! I am hooked already, and it's only my second day. Machelle's Daily Check In

Ok, so I am pretty new to this whole thing. I really need to stay accountable though, so here is my very first check in. I'm in too! My goal for this month is simply to stick with this. This is all new to me, and I think I'm probably initially going to have a gain, since I have abused my body with other diets. Goal for this month is to stabilize things and try to convince my body I am not going to starve it anymore.

I am 5'2" small frame and weigh 134 right now (46 years old...ugh!). I would like to get to 115, which is certainl...

Coming off of severe calorie restriction?

Hi everyone, I'm new here, and cannot believe I stumbled upon this diet (or rather, excitingly...a way of life)! I really am thrilled! Here's a question though. I have lost about 15 pounds by severely restricting my calories. Some days I have literally eaten next to nothing. My question is, if I'm c...
