I'm back, too. No matter how you look at it, this is pretty much the only way of eating to help you lose weight that is practical, and you can actually see yourself doing it for good. Everything else is just too complicated!

Khristal's Daily Check-In starting over!!

I almost made it to the 21 day club last month and had a red day on day 18 :( So, starting over today! Today is Day 1 ... so far so good. Oatmeal and a banana for breakfast. It's 11:16 AM and I'm still not hungry for lunch yet. Lunch: Small salad and a leftover hot dog from my son's b-day party. Din...

My first month of No S

I started about the beginning of May with No S. I lost 3 lbs right off the bat, gained them back, then lost them again for a total loss of 3 lbs for the entire month, which I am quite pleased with because I barely exercised at ALL! So, here in June, I am going to exercise every single day, even if i...

Article on fidgeting, very interesting

The article claims that thin people who seem to be able to eat whatever they want and not gain weight actually fidget and move around more throughout the day than overweight people who eat the same amount and gain weight, according to a study. I googled it and there have been a few studies done on t...

I love NO-S because I'm not thinking about food all the time anymore! I spend the hours between meals doing other things and not worrying about food, because I know it's not time to eat it yet. I don't have to sit and figure out if should have this or have that and then beat myself up over it.

It's a funny thing, I think most people on No-s wind up thinking less about food in a negative, anxious way, but MORE about it in a positive, "mindful" way: there's no thoughtless, automatic wolfing down when you sit down to a real meal with real appetite. Reinhard It's true. Before I started eatin...

It's already 4 PM, I ate lunch 4 hours ago, and I just realized it's getting close to time for dinner and not once have I thought about food since I ate lunch! Wow! I don't think I've went longer than 30 minutes without thinking about food in I don't know how long!
