I made a fridge sign
I needed something to stick on the fridge as a visual reminder So I made a fridge poster thing in inkscape :D Just dug out my old inkjet printer and after a 15 minute marathon of downloading drivers, finding power bricks and getting things setup... it's out of ink. AAAAAGH! So anyways I wanted to po...

hey everyone, thanks for the well wishes and advice! I bought some super good multi-vitamins plus some flaxseed oil and took them for a couple weeks. didn't notice much improvement sadly. Actually last week was the worst lot of headahces I've had in six months. So I've stopped taking both to see if ...

Vitamins! Somebody told me to start taking them and I forgot, thanks for the nudge there MrsPartridge :D This week was pretty hit and miss, I bought cereal and forced myself to eat at mealtimes 3 days in a row which is amazing. Fell off the bandwagon though so it's back on tomorrow. Must sound odd t...

anyone else deal with not being hungry?
Back in march I had a bad motorcycle accident and since then I've really struggled with eating regularly. Have a lot of memory and concentration issues now, so combined with the fact I just don't feel hungry I'll go for a couple days without eating and then realise hey I don't feel so good... My mum...

Suggestions for SG with fractured ribs?
I fractured a rib last sunday riding my motorbike. Haven't done any SG since then, but my back is _really_ starting to play up. I think it's in sympathy to the rest of me? Anyways, one thing I know that fixes me up pretty quick is some nice SG workouts... however I am reluctant to do this what with ...

hmm, the shoulder sledge one looks similar to my flip-lever2 except I hold the hammer just like in flip the lever, but pivot off the shoulder not elbow. Couple other moves of his I've tried during "freestyle" time. Guess it goes to show that with something like SG, the basics are there for everyone ...

As an interesting aside, I was talking to my dad about shovelglove over christmas. It was good to listen you talking about shugging Reinhard! I admit that I'm a bit disappointed in the audio quality, you sounded fine but Jason sounded like he was at the bottom of a tin can or something. Still, it's about the content, not the delivery after all. Nice work tiger, I eagerly await to ...

For sweet push mowers, check out the Brill Luxus series, everything I've heard about these is that they kick major amounts of arse.
You can even get battery powered ones now so that the pushing is easy too!

Back in the saddle
Today marks a full week of me getting back on the horse and sg'ing with some form of regularity. All it took was a fresh perspective, and some new motivations (plus moving house to a new state and starting a new job kinda helped). I'm feeling pretty good about it all, taking it very easy and doing m...

shovel movement too easy?
does anyone else find the shovelling movement too ... easy? I don't know how else to describe it, I do the shovel and I feel nothing, I do something like the robot axe chop and I can feel it everywhere. I'm doing like 40 - 50 shovels each side and it just feels like I'm going nowhere with them troub...

I live with 3 other guys, so things aren't really ever "neat" as such. However, I find just making sure I put things away after I'm done with them, instead of saying to myself "she'll be right, I'll put that away later" really makes a difference. As an upside, because I use my room to sg in, it HAS ...

New shovglover? shogloer? shoogooer?
Recruit Pete, reporting for duty with the Shovelglovers! Anyhoo, stumbled across this site via a torturously tangled web of links, but I'm here in one piece! I went out and picked up an 8lb hammer today, was going to go with something larger but decided to start slowly. I have an arseload of problem...
