I make an exception for medicine that tastes sweet and this might be considered such.

But you might feel "cleaner" if you got your vitamin c in less candy-like form (it is possible!).

Either way, this is a classic borderline substance that you shouldn't fret over too much.

Your husband's fourth, four letter S is amusing -- but you are right to take GermanHerman's cautions to heart.

Hi Chegent, I don't really know -- getting big wasn't the problem I was trying to solve with shovelglove. I've certainly gotten pretty strong and am reasonably content aesthetically -- but I was always "fat fat' vs. skinny fat so it's possible genetics and other factors were at play. We did have a r...

My rule is the dessert test: if it's sweet enough that I could imagine it being considered a dessert, it's an S. Context is key here; it's not about ingredients, but the meal itself. Would anyone consider a PB&J dessert? I don't think so. So it's OK in my book. A bowl full of marmalade straight up? ...

Can No S get a soldier "Army Thin?" Read magus71 inspiring account of how he used a combination of No S and kettlebells to help a soldier in his unit in Afghanistan lose 48 lbs and pass his physical fitness test. If moderate No S is powerful enough to get troops combat ready, we civilians have no bu...

Find out the answer to these and other mysteries in chentegt's recently posted three-year testimonial (with pictures!). http://everydaysystems.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=...

Thank you for this thoughtful, detailed post! And the generous actions behind it. Most posts here merely describe people helping themselves, and here you are using No-s to help a fellow solder (and by extension, our country). I'm also impressed and gratified to hear that no-s is useful even in what ...

Welcome! S-days are probably the single biggest concern and point of discussion on these boards. Worry about N-da...

Welcome! Glad to hear you're off to a good start.

I've been shovelgloving ~12 years now so it's definitely maintainable.

The trick is to ease in, throttle your enthusiasm, and focus on that sustainable minimum of compliance rather than heroic one-time efforts.

Good news for once! Obesity rate plummets 43% in young kids

I'm sure you'll be seeing this all over the place, but just in case: http://nyti.ms/1etXt4M Federal health authorities on Tuesday reported a stunning 43 percent drop in the obesity rate among 2- to 5-year-old children over the past decade, the first broad decline in an epidemic that often leads to l...

I'm glad you like it! I'd gotten a bunch of reports that people had sporadic login issues that I was never able to get to the bottom of. I'll look into adding a link -- it's easy enough technically, just there's not a lot of screen real estate.

Hi snikkio, Shovelglove definitely does work the wrists, so do be careful. There are some movements that are probably more dangerous in this regard than others. I'd say the best thing would be to test the waters very carefully, no more than 7 slow reps each side with each move until you're very comf...

MJ7910's recent testimonial, chronicling her struggles with anorexia, shows that No S can work both ways, guarding against both too much and too little -- further proof of its fundamental elegance and sanity, I like to think!
